SORRY, SOLD! 1965 All-White Princess Typewriter with New Platen!

This lovely, all-white, Princess 300, from 1965, has a new platen (!!), a QWERTY keyboard and is in superb condition. It has been fully restored, cleaned, lubricated and adjusted. There are many of these for sale at a wide range of prices. We are experts in Princess typewriters and this one has a new platen; please look carefully and read the descriptions carefully when making your choice to buy a Princess (or any) typewriter. This one has a beautiful egg-shell white and simply gorgeous. These typewriters are normally found in the blue and cream colour scheme; this colour is quite uncommon. This typewriter has all original colouring. It is wonderful to use, very portable and is absolutely lovely to look at! It comes with its original user handbook and a simply gorgeous case. It is a lovely combination of inspired mid-century industrial design and German engineering!  This portable typewriter looks as handsome standing on your desk at home as it does on the terrace of your hotel or holiday home.
The keyboard is QWERTY with extra keys for European languages. It comes with a new ribbon so you can start typing immediately. The typeface is a beautiful Pica (10 characters to the inch).
We have restored dozens of these Princess typewriters over the years and I am always impressed by the overall high quality, mechanical design and the smoothness with which they operate. As an example, the ribbon colour selector switch on the left is as cool as they come. When you switch to red or no-colour a little colour-block comes into the glass window above the switch. Tabs are set (and removed) at the touch of a finger with the special key on the right side.
This typewriter is in superb cosmetic condition and working perfectly. Mechanically this Princess is in fully working condition, as when new. Everything works as it should and as originally designed. The platen, as mentioned, has new rubber and will be good for another 20 years at least. The paper feed rollers are in excellent condition and appropriately soft. The chrome parts are in beautiful condition. 
The case is in exceptionally fine condition. The interior lining is in superb condition with little to no signs of wear. The exterior of this leather case is undamaged in any way.

It comes with the "Acme" lead certification seal attached to the typewriter which permanently identifies it as a genuine Acme-restored typewriter and provides for a one year warranty.
