Hermes is one of the most renowned brands and models of typewriter ever made, and this is a nice example of the "Baby" model, also known as the "Rocket", from 1958. This is the perfect portable typing machine, weighing only ~3.6kg/8 lbs! This typewriter is in fine condition, mechanically and cosmetically, and has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, adjusted and aligned. It is a typing machine that is ready to work for another 60 years of typing service. And with its brilliant Hermes engineering, it does that with elegance, smoothness and solidity.
Like all of our typewriters this is a fully-working typewriter. It comes with the "Acme" lead certification seal attached to the typewriter which permanently identifies it as a genuine Acme-restored typewriter and provides for a one-year warranty. 
The keyboard is a QWERTY keyboard (English language) and has a very interesting and unusually small typeface of Hermes Elite (13 cpi). It has been fitted with a vintage silk ribbon so you can start typing immediately.  
The only blemishes to note on the typewriter are some light spots of corrosion on the paper bail.
The case/cover is in beautiful condition both inside and out with one tiny blemish on one corner.
