1956 Erika Model 10 Typewriter
A wonderful and very uncommon, forest-green coloured ERIKA Model 10 typewriter from 1956. Comes complete with a beautiful original case in extraordinarily fine condition and includes original brushes, metal ribbon spools and original user handbook (not shown in photos). In excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically, it has been professionally adjusted and restored. It has a QWERTY international keyboard with keys for European languages and the typeface is a beautiful Erika Elite (11 cpi). It has a new ribbon and is ready to type.
This typewriter has not been over-painted; it is all original. It has the rich-green colour of the famous Halda Model P typewriter. The styling is sublime, the typing action is springy and fast, yet solid to the touch. Erika typewriters are well-known and well-respected for the unique lever system they have for typing. This system gives a more relaxed "touch" than standard typewriters.

Overall, this typewriter is in top condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. All keys type as new, the platen-roller is smooth and clean with a perfect hardness rating of ~91 (ideal is between 85 and 95). The body finish is in excellent condition with minimal signs of age or use. The Chrome is in perfect condition. The rubber feet and paper feeder rollers are in excellent and soft condition.
This Model 10 comes with the original hard case. The case is in excellent condition externally and internally.
