SORRY, SOLD! Original Forest-Green, 1954, Rheinmetall Kst Typewriter

This Rheinmetall KsT typewriter is ALL ORIGINAL. The wonderful, forest-green colour is from the factory and the entire machine is in exceptionally fine condition. It has been fully reconditioned and comes with its original equipment (cleaning brushes, polishing cloth, erasing template) and two vintage metal ribbon spools. Fabulous!
Rheinmetall is known by typewriter enthusiasts to be a very high-quality typing machine. Its action is smooth and solid, soft and sure. The body colour finish is completely original and is unblemished by sun or any other factors. This typewriter has been well-protected and very well cared-for during its lifetime. It is in exceptional condition in every way, is fully working and has been fully serviced, aligned and adjusted. We have outfitted this KsT with a new, bi-colour ribbon so you can start typing immediately.
 
 
Acme typewriters has long been the choice of discerning collectors and writers. Each comes with a lead seal, attached to the body, identifying it as a fully-restored Acme typewriter. The keyboard is QWERTY and has additional keys for European languages. The typeface is Pica with 10 characters per inch. The platen is in wonderful condition: clean, smooth and soft with a hardness reading of ~92 (ideal is 85 to 95). The rubber feet are in excellent condition.
The original case is in fine condition inside and outside but does bear some signs of wear and use, having done its job well over the decades. Nonetheless, it is in solid condition and will transport/store this typewriter well.
